Dedicated to the memory of Michael Carle

This site is a tribute to Michael Carle.

It is with immense sadness I have lost my soul mate and the best dad ever. He was taken from us far too early and it doesn’t feel real, however, his passing will not take our memories of Michael and they will live on through myself, his children and family and friends.

Michael was born to be a dad and had the biggest heart going and both Cerys and Harvey had him wrapped around their fingers.

I knew when I married Michael, I had to share this with his love for Newcastle United, where he lived the ups and downs over the years. I will say, he was getting quite excited at the current form, but held it back just incase as you never know with Newcastle. Over the last few years, he was a season ticket holder with Harvey, introducing him to the rollercoaster life of NUFC and on occasions to the pub to meet good friends before the match. Recently Cerys had started going to matches which he loved taking them both (and I wasn’t going to argue having a couple of hours quiet time).

Michael loved his holidays, the sun on his face with a drink in his hand (had to be Stella!). He especially loved his Florida/ Disney trips with his family. He was like a big kid on the rollercoasters.

He took pride in his work and was well respected in his time at Northumberland County Council. He made lots of friends with his good humour and approachable personality, He was known as the ‘go to guy’, “Mick would know the answer”, which he did as he knew his job inside out.

As his wife I feel numbness, emptiness and pain but I know Michael and he wouldn’t want tears and sadness he would want us to remember all the good times.

We will all have our memories of Michael so please feel joy that you knew him and keep your memories of him alive.

My personal message to Michael is: You will always be my rock, and permanently in mine, Cerys and Harvey’s hearts forever and to eternity. You now rest and know I have got this covered for the both of us, LOVE YOU forever, Gaynor xxxx
